The Irishman Pub & Eatery

I work from my home office and at times it can get a bit lonely so today I decided to take a ride in my car and check out a popular local lunch spot in a neighboring town called The Irishman Pub & Eatery. My hope was that I would be able to get a good solid healthy lunch, free wifi, and great service. I got all of the above and I'd like to share it with you.

First Impressions

I was met at the door by a very nice host named Christian that sat me at a beautiful wood table right next to the wall so I would have a place to plug in my computer. I asked if they had free wifi and he offered me the password to the restaurant wireless network and already I was very happy. After being seated, I took a few minutes to take in the ambiance. A very nice, warm place with a great layout and lots of wood implements. The tables were spread out perfectly giving patrons and waiters ample space to move without losing that home like Irish feel.

The Service & Food

After being seated I was quickly attended to by Christina my server. I ordered an unsweetened ice tea and a Reuben. What else do you order in an Irish Pub? The Reuben was one of the best I had in a long time and was served on a hot plate so the bread didn't get soggy. It was perfect!

Traditional Service puts a Crunch on the Big Franchise

How come all restaurants, coffee shops, and establishments can't offer this kind of service? I stopped into Starbucks about two weeks ago and they are still making you pay for the wifi! What's up with that? Nice little family establishments like The Irishman Pub and Eatery can easily win the business war with big clumsy franchises like Starbucks or McDonalds just doing the simple things they do best. I will surely be a frequent return to The Irishman Pub and Eatery and I am glad I stopped in.

They have 1/2 price bottles of wine on Tuesday's... Great deal for all you wine enthusiasts out there or if your just looking for a good meal and a few drinks with out breaking the bank!
