Social Media + PR in Buffalo?

What a great find this Buffalo Tweetup has been. I have a question for the B'lo Tweetup community: what types of jobs or careers are available in the Buffalo area that combine social media and public relations? I currently work in PR in Baltimore have have a heavy social media background, but am looking to move back to Buffalo. I'd love to stay in the ever-growing field. Any insight into the Buffalo social media world would be super helpful! Thanks!

All PR practitioners need to develop PR skills. The social media consultants need to learn the basics of PR and communication process if they are to progress in their careers. While the unique abilities that created the phenomena of the social media consultant will inevitably disappear, the experience required to create positive, safe, profitable work for clients requires experience and ability in PR work.
